THE BRIEF: 

Grow visitor numbers and revenue from the wellness market for VisitGuernsey.

OUR APPROACH:

LOTUS created a distinctive wellness offering. The campaign was launched at World Travel Market’s Wellness Lounge, hosting tour operator and trade media interviews. 

We organised a Wellness Tourism seminar for on-island stakeholders and created a ‘Wellness Breaks’ section on VisitGuernsey.com. 

Sector-specific themed consumer and trade brochures were created in addition to an on-island wellness suppliers’ database, which was listed on VisitGuernsey’s trade site. 

We also worked with partner, Ramblers Walking holidays, to create an engaging media and customer event. 

RESULTS:

  • 5 new yoga retreats 
  • 3 new hotel wellness packages 
  • 1 new running tour
  • 15 meetings with wellness operators 
  • 3 new tour operators in one year
  • 3,934,546 circulation
