THE BRIEF:

Launch and position BLESS Collection Hotels, part of Palladium Hotel Group, as a leader in the gastronomy field.

THE APPROACH:

Establish the hotel’s gastronomic status through raising the profile of BLESS Collection Hotel’s ‘Gastronomic Guru’, celebrated Spanish chef Martin Berasategui (holder of ten Michelin stars), in the UK.

LOTUS designed an exclusive media event at the new BLESS Hotel Madrid for Berasategui to unveil his signature restaurant, ETXEKO, an exclusive degustation menu and announce the concept behind his culinary proposition.

Individual interviews with food-focussed outlets ensured high quality and relevant coverage in titles such as The Daily Telegraph, Delicious, Amuse and Chef Magazine.

To supply additional context and secure and sustain coverage on travel pages, media were taken on a private ‘behind the scenes’ tour of some of Madrid’s key food and drink spots.
